The Raggamuffins is a cross-genre, songwriting collective based in Nashville in partnership with label 615 JJ Entertainment. This ever-growing group of 20+ creatives strives to break genre-binding boundaries in Music City and create undeniable hits. The team, comprised of people from every walk of life, has become a tight-knit family working hard together to help each other win, and the quality of the songs reflects that. 

 

This group is the brain-child of Juliana Hale, a principal artist and partner at 615 JJ Entertainment, and Jimmy Maynes, an accomplished executive and A&R. The Raggamuffins have been closely working with labels 300 Entertainment and Sony to bring their artists’ stories to life through music. Notably currently writing on projects for Mary J. Blige, Justin Lee Schultz, Le’Andria Johnson, Case, Mariah Carey, Donald Lawrence, Salt n Pepa, Isaac Carree, and SIR the Baptist. Some of our writers include Juliana Hale, Khaya Adriana, Coldway, Julian King, Terrence Dudley, 2 Live Bre, and Alex Slay. Producers on our team include Charles Ferrar, Chris Liggio, KJ Mitchell, Terrence Dudley, Coldway, and Trinity Howard. 

 

The Raggamuffins plan to expand into writers’ retreats in the near future, offering a getaway for creatives to hone their craft and get their creations into the right hands. Our sync division is expanding daily as well, especially as 615 JJ Entertainment is producing a music-based film.
